Hi ya all,
This is just a piece i composed in tribute to slumdog millionaire.
I felt the theme of the movie revolved all around the true love Jamal had for Latika.
All his life he kept running away from problem to problem until he decided that it was time to go back and seek the love, he could not achieve for some 20 odd years.
I've tried to capture through the music, deep emotions of love mixed with the essence of constant running in order to keep him, his brother and his love alive.
Rahman brilliancy is evident that he was able to bring the film to a different plane that even with harsh, violent scenes throughout the movie, the audience never feels a sense of hate. He has beautifully disguised these scenes with his brilliant work so that the movie doesnt turn up to be just another dark movie in everyones already hectic life.
I tried to keep this aspect to my piece as well... hoped it turned out well...
It was a pleasure watching the movie and Rahman has made it larger than ever...
This my tribute to Slumdog...

Know - Kiss The Girl - Little Memaid
Hi Ya all,
I dont remember my age I saw The Little Mermaid, but one think I did
remember was that it had this beautiful, very pretty song, that could heard
just over and over and over again.... Catching this song at a very young age must have twisted the tune
I have remembered. Looking back at the song now, I find that the tune I have known
is a little off the original but none the less it is a very good song and the chords are the same :)
Kiss The Girl
The chords are very simple:
They are C, F and G chords.... These chords are kinda like universal.. you would find most of the
songs in these..
C
There you see her
F
Sitting there across the way
G
She don’t got a lot to say
F C
But there’s something about her
G
And you don’t know why
F
But you’re dying to try
C
You wanna kiss the girl
C
Yes, you want her
F
Look at her, you know you do
G
It’s possible she wants you, too
F C
There is one way to ask her
G
It don’t take a word
F
Not a single word
C
Go on and kiss the girl
C
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
F
My, oh, my
C
Look at the boy too shy
G
He ain’t gonna kiss the girl
C
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
F
Ain’t that sad
G
Ain’t it shame, too bad
C
You gonna miss the girl
Njoy Everybody...

confident and comfortable with and then unleash it the next time you guys meet..

Know - Summer of 69
Hi ya all,
I know how frustrating it could be for anyone to learn the guitar especially when the songs they are practicing are the songs they have never heard of before...
I've always thought I could learn the guitar faster if I knew before hand which note would come next rather trying to follow some song I've never heard of before...
So here i wish to give ya all, basic Guitar stuffs that beginners can easily catch up and enhance the learning process...
Rock N Roll...
I think Summer of 69 is easy enough for beginners to easily catch up..
If you can see the video you would notice that I haven't used any out of the world strumming patterns (though they are very essential once you have set yourself comfortably on the guitar).
I've used only the down strokes, with a few up strokes but that aint needed for now
I've also chosen the open chords which are easier for basix,
The song kicks of with the D Chord....
And then with the A Chord
You can watch the video to get a feel of the intro riff.....
Its real simple
After you get a hold on that, you can continue with the D and A chords into the first stanza
D
I got my first real six string
A
Bought it at a five and dime
D
Played it till my fingers bled
A
Was the summer of 69
D
Me and some guys from school
A
Had a band and we tried real hard
D
Jimmy quit and Judie got married
A
Should have known we'd never get far
For the chorus of the song you would need to know the Bm chord and G Chord too
Bm
Oh when I lock back now
A
That seemes to have last forever
D
And if I had the choice
G
Ya - I'd always wanna be there
Those were the best days of my life...
Hope you enjoyed it.....
